Join the more than 1,500 family and friends for the 7th Annual I-Drive 5K Run on May 9, 2009.  Bring your kids to the special run just for them!

 

This popular fund raising 3.1 mile run raises money to benefit the International Drive YMCA Aquatic & Family Center Scholarship Fund. Kids and families are able to take advantage of programs that teach swimming as an accessible and safe lifelong skill that is available to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.

 

The annual I-Drive 5K Run began in 2002 and has grown to include more than 1,300 attendees and sponsor participants, and has raised more than $50,000.

 

The day starts at 7:30 a.m. with the 5K and at 8:45 a.m. for the Kid’s Dash, the course takes runners and walkers through the heart of the International Drive Resort area. Prizes include I-Drive Fun Packages with attraction tickets, gift certificates, merchandise and more. All kids participating will be awarded a finishing ribbon.

 

A commemorative t-shirt is given to each runner along with gift bags of merchandise and special offers from Orlando’s tourism and hospitality community.
